Registration – Station Unity 2024

Registration Overview

In order to attend any events or activities at Station Unity 2024, you must be a registered attendee of the convention.

If you are a member of an anime club or similar organization, your group may be eligible to pre-register as a group to obtain additional convention registration savings.

Upon your arrival at Station Unity 2024 and confirmation of pre-registration or at-the-door registration, you will be issued a personal badge that must be worn at all times in order to gain entry to events, activities and convention spaces such as the video rooms or merchant room. When picking up your badge, you must present a valid, government issued, photo identification containing your birthdate and other specified required materials that may be announced leading up to the convention date. Please check the website regularly for updates and requirements.

Acceptable forms of identification include: driver’s license, state-issued photo ID, US Government or Military ID card, US or foreign passport. Other identity documents may or may not be accepted at the discretion of our Registration department (school identification cards will only be accepted as specified in the section below). Please see complete rules below.

Please note: every person must be registered as a unique attendee. Please use legal names matching photo ID to ensure everyone can pick up their badges. All attendees are required to be present in order to pick up their own badges.

Rate Notices

Children age 7 and under are admitted free of charge with a paying adult.
Please remember to bring your photo ID as noted in the section below.
A Child & Youth must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
A Teen is not required to be accompanied, but we encourage parents and/or legal guardians to remain involved in their attendance at the convention.
The Military registration is for active-duty, retired, and veteran US Military personnel, and offers $10 off the regular Adult price. You must present your valid Military ID (or other verification) to receive your badge. This registration discount does not apply to spouses & dependents.
The Senior registration is for seniors age 65 and up.
Groups of ten to fifteen people registering in the same transaction will be eligible for a discount of $5 off each paid registration included in the transaction. Please see Group Registration for details before registering.

In order to pick up your badge, please bring a government issued, photo ID containing your birthdate and a print out of your confirmation email. Government issued Photo ID containing your birthdate is required, and the confirmation email is helpful in the event of misspellings or problems, as it is proof of registration. All attendees are required to be present in order to pick up their own badges.

At-Door Registration

In order to avoid any confusion or concern over how long a daily badge is good for and to ensure that a badge lasts all the way through evening events, Station Unity will only be selling a weekend badge and the price of the badge will decrease on a daily basis as the con progresses. The At-Door Registration rates will be:

Online Registration will remain open through the convention weekend at “At Door Pricing”.
Registrations purchased after July 1st, 2024 are NONREFUNDABLE. If you have any reason to believe that your travel plans may be cancelled, please wait until you arrive to make your purchase.
All registrations purchased online are eligible for early badge pick-up on Friday, August 16th, 2024, or to use the faster pre-registration lines on Friday through Sunday.
Because all weekend badges are good for the entire weekend.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Only badges are also good for that day only.

The At-Door Registration Hours will be determined at a later date.

Pre-registered badges may be picked up at any time Registration is open.

Group Registration

If you are a member of an anime club, similar organization, or just a group of family or friends, your group may be eligible to pre-register as a Group to obtain additional convention registration savings. Groups of 10 to 15 qualify for a discount of $5 per group member off the pre-registration price when registering on or before July 15th, 2024. There is no group registration discount after the final discounted pre-registration period ends on July 15, or when registering at the door. The group discount cannot be applied to registrations after purchase.

If you wish to register as a group, please email su-prereg@katsucon.org to request a group discount code on or before July 15th, 2024. Include the name of your group plus the first and last names of all the members of your group that will be registering. Once you have received your group discount code, you should register you members into the Station Unity Tixr Registration page. You will receive the confirmation once you have registered.

NOTICE:

If Refunds of group registrations are done when those individuals were registered as part of a group benefiting from a group discount, then they risk invalidating the group discount if it causes the group to drop below the required number of people (10 People). Thus a full refund of the group registration will be done and a new group registration will need to be purchased.

Accessibility

For those attendees with accessibility challenges, we offer a quick-access Registration line and a badge ribbon that will provide use of a chair while in line, priority seating, Gaylord handicap facility access, and other accommodations. Photo Identification

All attendees 13 and older are required to show photo identification in order to pick-up or purchase a registration. (Attendees 12 and younger who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian also registered for the convention and bearing the required ID are exempt.)If you are between the ages of 13-17, and have a student ID from your school that has your legal name and current photo for the 2023/2024 school year, this will be accepted.

If you are between the ages of 13-17 and you do not have any photo ID, but have a parent attending who does have ID and can vouch for who you say you are, this will be accepted.

Accepted forms of identification include:

Driver’s license or learner’s permit
State-issued Non-Driver ID Card
Passport
ISIC (International Student Identity Card)
Government or Military ID

Note: If you or your child does not have a photo ID, you may be able to obtain one at a reasonable fee through your state’s Motor Vehicles office. If you have questions or require assistance, please contact us contact@katsucon.org.

Parental Permission Forms

A Parental Permission waiver is required at the time of registration for the purchase of all registrations for ages 17 and under. Notification of the Parental Permission waiver is presented during the registration process, but a physical copy of the completed and signed form is required to be presented to the Registration team when picking up badges. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

Please print this Parental Permisson Form and ensure it accompanies all minors to the convention. The waiver reads:

I am over the age of eighteen years (18), am competent, am the parent and/or legal guardian of the child named below, and do hereby consent to the child named below, a minor, attending and participating in the convention sponsored by Katsucon Entertainment, Inc. [KEI]. I agree, personally and on his/her behalf, to all requirements and agreements set forth by KEI/Station Unity pertaining to his/her attendance, and to waive any claims or causes of action which he/she or I may now or hereafter have against Katsucon Entertainment, Inc., its Board Members, officers, employees, volunteers, and/or members, arising out of his/her attendance and participation in the convention. I understand that Katsucon Entertainment, Inc., nor its Board Members, officers, employees, volunteers, nor its members are not responsible for the supervision of the child named below during his/her attendance at the convention.

Badge Transfer Policy

If you’ve pre-registered to come to Station Unity and find yourself unable to attend, email su-prereg@katsucon.org, or ask the Registration team when you arrive to pick up your badges.

Badge Replacement Policy

In the event you lose your badge, please check with both the convention’s Lost and Found as well as the hotel’s. If neither location has your badge, you may be able to purchase a new badge at Registration for a reduced price with proof of registration. Please show your photo ID and receipt to the Registration staff so they can verify your prior purchase. No free badge replacements will be issued.

Refund Policy

While we hope everyone who expresses a desire to attend Station Unity has the opportunity to enjoy our convention experience, we understand that life sometimes interferes with travel plans. To that end, we will honor requests for refunds of pre-registration fees if they meet the following criteria:

Refunds must be requested through email to the refunds@katsucon.org. When you request a refund please include your name and the order number of your registration. If you have more than one registration in your order, please be specific exactly which one(s) should be refunded.
Refunds must be requested by the purchaser of a registration, and funds will be returned directly to the purchaser via method of purchase.
All requests for refunds must be submitted on or before July 1st. Registrations purchased after July 1st, are nonrefundable and will not be honored for any reason. All sales are final after July 1st.
Refund requests will not be accepted after July 1st for conditions that do not impact Station Unity’s ability to be held as scheduled. Should weather (or other conditions) cause Station Unity to not be held on its original date, an additional Refund Request period or transfer to a rescheduled event will be offered at that time.

Refund requests prior to the deadline will be completed within 30 days of the initial request. If you have requested a refund and have not received it within 30 days of the initial request, please contact us at that time for more information.
Refunds may have fees deducted from the final amount as assessed by our payment processor.
Donations are not refundable. We pass the money we collect in donations on to charity, we are not able to return it to you, even if your registration is refunded.
No refunds will be issued for AT-DOOR registrations purchased for the convention.

Filming Disclaimer

By attending Station Unity, you will be subject to the following agreement:

I, [your name] have been made aware that Station Unity is being filmed by the Video Productions Dept. I automatically agree that either I will make the film crew aware if I do not wish to be filmed OR I automatically agree to be filmed and am giving permission to Station Unity, and anyone affiliated to use the footage without compensation or acknowledgment. Camera operators can be approached at any time with any questions or concerns.
